However, things took an unexpected turn when Shisia was beaten by his lover and left with injuries

"We have been dating for a while and met once last year, our relationship has not been good at all because the lady had doubts about me, she is aware that I have a wife in Nairobi and kids. I came so that we could solve the issues to strengthen our relationship, but she decided to beat me up, leaving me in critical condition without lips and several bruises," Shisia told.

Shisia said he tried to defend himself, but the woman was too strong, overpowering him. He is now left with only one upper lip. His loud cries prompted neighbors to come to his rescue.

"She had more strength than I could handle. She shoved me against the walls and bit my lips. I screamed for help until neighbours came to rescue me and took me to Manyala Sub-County Hospital," he explained.

The incident was reported to Manyala Police Station, and Shisia is now waiting for the woman’s arrest to seek justice.

"I have reported the matter to the police and given OB number, also the doctor has signed a P3 form so that I get justice, my worry is how I will explain to my wife when I go back to Nairobi, I need help," he added.

The doctor in charge at Manyala Sub-County Hospital confirmed the incident, stating that they had treated the patient for lip bites before discharging him.
