1. Kiambu man allegedly kills wife, flees after posting cryptic Facebook confession
Naomi Chebet, a mum of three, was allegedly murdered in her apartment in a case many believed to be was love gone sour.

According to a post-mortem examination, the husband of the young woman allegedly stabbed her twice on the back of her head.
Samuel Njoroge, who is the prime suspect, ran off and has not been found to this day; his Facebook page showed a disturbing message.
2. Alliance Girls student who died after boiler explosion to be buried in same place as dad, 2 siblings
Georgina Aluoch, who was a brilliant Form Three student, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, in Diani, Mombasa.
Aluoch and her mum were involved in a tragic boiler explosion, and the Alliance Girls High School student will be buried next to her father and two siblings.

Her mother, Joyce Ong'ombe, suffered 45% burns, and thankfully, she is responding positively to treatment. She expressed her desire to attend Aluoch's burial in Migori county.
3. Nairobi woman blames aviator after business collapses: "Winning KSh 264k was trap"
Miriam Waithira, who used to boast a thriving business, narrated about how her life was turned upside down by betting addiction.
According to the mum of one, her first lucky win later turned into a devastating trap.
Her addiction later caused her to lose her hotel business in Uthiru, and having no means to make a living, she was forced to return to her rural home in Kinangop.
4. Geoffrey Ouma: Family speaks after wife allegedly stabs husband to death in Ongata Rongai
In another story, Geoffrey Ouma was allegedly stabbed to death in a tragic incident by his wife after a domestic dispute.
While social media claimed he was attacked for failing to provide money, his family refuted the allegations, revealing deeper marital issues.
The suspect did not flee as suggested by earlier reports, and police have since arrested her as the family mourns the loss.
5. Pain of Kiambu woman who lost husband, all 3 kids in Naivasha crash that killed 7: "I'm empty"
Out of a cute family of five from Kamirithu in Limuru, only one person, their mum, is remaining and has to bear the unimaginable loss.
Her husband and three daughters died in a road accident in Naivasha, and their deaths left their village in mourning, with friends and relatives struggling to comfort the grieving family.
As the family and villagers planned for the burial, many people wondered how a person was supposed to heal from all that pain.

The family of Sophie Ikenye, a seasoned journalist, asked Kenyans to help them raise KSh 5 million for her treatment.
She worked in both national and international media, such as NTV and the BBC.
