Renowned preacher Pastor James Ng'ang'a has left netizens in stitches after his encounter with one of his church members.

While preaching, a female congregant went to the altar to ask the preacher why her husband left her but his response got her thinking deep.

Ng'ang'a responds to woman dumped by hubby

In the clip shared on TikTok by @grandson, the lady dressed in an orange top, had her hair shaved in a box style, and dyed the front part, which is common to men.

She said:

"My husband left me for no reason, I want to know why."

Ng'ang'a who was standing next to her looked at her and then said:

"Because you shaved like this. That's it. Is this shaving style you have for men or women? Who told you to shave like that?"

Ng'ang'a could be seen pointing at the woman's head and pushing her while asking her why she considered the short hairstyle.

Why Ng'ang'a rebuked his congregants

The man of God rebuked his congregants after they failed to give hefty offerings during the church service.

The Neno Evangelism Church founder stated what he expects from them every Sunday, sparking reactions from Kenyans.

According to him, his church members did so little for his ministry with their low attendance and few offerings.

The controversial pastor also questioned why young people in his church were struggling to attend service yet he attends overnight prayers and shows up on Sunday.

Ng'ang'a bans sheng in church

The preacher banned speaking Sheng (an English-Swahili-based chant) in his church, saying it was a language used by crooks.

During a service in the church, he cautioned his congregants saying they ought to be civil and communicate in decent language.

He claimed that the language was rubbish and wouldn't be tolerated in his church as he advised them to communicate in ways everyone could understand.
